What a Great Week!

It's been an amazingly busy week for real estate on Hilton Head Island and Bluffton. The tides have certainly turned and business is great.  We have been touring some wonderful buyers around town. I love my job because I have the opportunity to meet so many great people & create lasting friendships all while helping them find their dream home. Smiling buyers are the best! I expect the weekend will be full of the same. YAY!                                        I hope to see you at the American Heart Association's Heart Walk this Saturday. The sixth annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest, sponsored by the David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation and Hilton Head Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, is set to take place Friday, April 5, 2013, 5-8pm, and Saturday, April 6, 11am-5pm, at Shelter Cove Community Park. The family-friendly event features area restaurants/chefs serving up seafood specialties and other tasty cuisine, live entertainment, a Kids Zone, a silent auction, an Iron Chef-style competition (Art of Cuisine), and more.

April 5, 5 – 8pm: Entertainment by Cranford & Sons
April 6, 11am – 5pm: Entertainment by The Headliners, Art of Cuisine kicks off before noon
Admission: $5/adults, free for children under 12
Food/beverages available for purchase

For the dog lover, bring your favorite pal to Coligny Beach on Saturday morning for a beach walk in the sun.

 

Hilton Head Humane Association's 16th Annual Dog Walk on the Beach is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th 2013 at Coligny Beach. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. DJ Alan Palchak returns as MC and entertainer! Bring your favorite canine companion for a morning filled with fun in the sun. Get Your Home Ready For Spring ~ Inside and Out

It's been a great couple of weekends here in the Lowcountry. The sun is shining and the weather is warm. Spring is here and I'm thrilled! To get me out of the winter blahs, I have already started my garden, updated my potted plants on the porch, and moved on to the interior with Spring additions here and there. Here are a few suggestions to get your home ready for Spring.

 

1.  Update your front door with a fresh welcome mat and new plants. Don't neglect the windows around the front door and the door its self. It's a great time to make sure these are clean.

2.  Lighten up a room by changing out area rugs and throw pillows. Sometimes just moving rugs around makes you feel like you have something new. Light rugs always brighten up a room.
