Great Fall Weekend!

What a great fall weekend! The weather was perfect during the days and just cool enough for a campfire and smores at night. I love this time of year in the Lowcountry.  Hope you all visited the Bluffton Seafood and Arts Festival. This one always draws a huge crowd and offers tons of great food and amazing local art.

If you’ve never visited Holiday Farms (just outside of Ridgeland, SC), you’re missing out. This pumpkin patch is open from October 1-October 31 every year. There are so many activities for the kids including the “Haytona SpeedwayDuck Races, Bounce House, Corn Grinding, Steer Roping, Cow Milking, and MORE!  There’s a Barnyard Zoo where you’ll meet several friends and is home to the pig races. Then head over to the covered wagon where the hayride will take you to the pumpkin patch. This is a must if you have children. They will love it!

Then it was off to the South Carolina Yacht Club on Sunday. From feathers and finery to eerie eyes and terrifying teeth, the children were inspired to create their pumpkin masterpiece. Here are some of our creations.
