2012 Marsh Tacky Horse Race at Coligny was another perfect collimation of Low Country ideal beach weather and sharing in pride of our State Heritage Horse. Our office shared a tent on the ocean side with friends and family – proud to be sponsoring “Southern Breeze”, seen in a photo here and ridden by Wyle Bell who rode Breeze to win the Mare’s Race Heat and then win overall in the mares category. 
A custom “Southern Breeze” cocktail was enjoyed by many and the pony atop the “marsh foam” cupcake was another tasty treat, shared by Davis and Ellis Rose.
Rider Erin Hogan was caught hugging her best friend Beebop. Erin and Beebop raced in the Mare’s Category and they get our vote for “Best Dressed” rider and horse. Many “tacky” hats were spotted, none worn as fashionably as those in the beach foursome of Paige, Dana, Heather, and our hostess, Leslie.
Not to be forgotten is last year’s overall winner Molly with her owner Janson Cox both acting as ambassadors of the proud equine breed. I’ve loved Molly for the past 3 years so happily gave her another embrace while introducing her to office friend/associate, Paige Rose.
