The sixth annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest, sponsored by the David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation and Hilton Head Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, is set to take place Friday, April 5, 2013, 5-8pm, and Saturday, April 6, 11am-5pm, at Shelter Cove Community Park. The family-friendly event features area restaurants/chefs serving up seafood specialties and other tasty cuisine, live entertainment, a Kids Zone, a silent auction, an Iron Chef-style competition (Art of Cuisine), and more.

April 5, 5 – 8pm: Entertainment by Cranford & Sons
April 6, 11am – 5pm: Entertainment by The Headliners, Art of Cuisine kicks off before noon
Admission: $5/adults, free for children under 12
Food/beverages available for purchase

For the dog lover, bring your favorite pal to Coligny Beach on Saturday morning for a beach walk in the sun.

 

Hilton Head Humane Association's 16th Annual Dog Walk on the Beach is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th 2013 at Coligny Beach. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. DJ Alan Palchak returns as MC and entertainer! Bring your favorite canine companion for a morning filled with fun in the sun. Ready to support our local artists and enjoy extraordinary performances?  Then the Arts Center on Saturday night should be your next stop for the Duncan Sheik Benefit.

 

The exceptional evening begins with a 6pm cocktail reception followed by an unforgettable solo performance by Duncan Sheik. Both having been on Broadway in leading roles, Meredith and Steve will treat the audience to a soaring performance as well. Following the program, there will be an exciting live auction with one-of-a-kind lots and special opportunities to meet Duncan, Meredith and Steve.
